Privacy policy
This policy explains what data Clilot collects, how it uses it and your rights over that data.
Data we process
- Account details: your name, email address and password (protected with a hash, rather than stored as readable text).
- Data you enter in the app: your customers, their contact details (phone numbers and emails), notes and calendar events.
- Technical data: basic device information needed to keep you signed in.
- App usage data: the screens you open and how often you use the app, measured with Google Analytics for Firebase without linking this data to your name or email address.
- Crash reports: if the iOS or Android app crashes, Firebase Crashlytics sends us a technical report (the error, device model and operating system version) so we can fix it.
How we use your data
To provide the service: save and sync your information across your devices, send essential emails (account verification and password resets) and generate your calendar link if you enable it. Usage data and crash reports help us understand which parts of the app are used, fix problems and improve it. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.
Where your data is stored
Data is stored on OVHcloud servers in the European Union. It is shared only with technical providers needed to run the service (hosting, email delivery, and app usage and error measurement with Google Analytics for Firebase and Firebase Crashlytics), and with any AI assistants you connect.
We make automatic daily backups and keep them for one month to protect data against accidental loss or technical problems.
Your customers' data
You are responsible for the personal data about other people that you enter in Clilot (your customers and their contacts) and for having a lawful basis to process it. Clilot processes that data only on your behalf to provide the service.
AI assistants
You can request access to AI assistant connections by emailing contact@clilot.com. A compatible assistant (such as Claude or ChatGPT) lets you ask about your data in a conversation. You authorize the connection by signing in to Clilot and clicking "Allow", and you can revoke it at any time in the app's settings.
The assistant can only read your customers (including notes, phone numbers and emails), event types, events and activity summary. It cannot create, change or delete anything, or access account information such as your password. Any data it reads is sent to that assistant, whose provider processes it under its own terms and privacy policy.
Cookies and website analytics
This website uses Google Analytics to measure visitor numbers, pages viewed and buttons used to open the app or visit the stores. It only runs if you accept it in the cookie banner: if you reject it, no analytics cookies are set. App usage is measured separately, as described under "Data we process".
Google Analytics sets the cookies _ga and _ga_*, which last for up to 2 years. Google Ireland Limited processes this data as a service provider and may transfer it to the United States under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
You can change your choice at any time using the "Cookies" link in the footer.
How long we keep your data
For as long as your account is active. You can delete your account in the app at any time; doing so permanently deletes your data.
Your rights
You can access or correct your data, ask for it to be deleted or its processing restricted, and request a copy by emailing contact@clilot.com. You can also lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es).
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll publish the updated version on this page with its revision date.
